From pre school until about 4th or 5th grade every teacher on the last day of school before the Thanksgiving break would give the biggest time waster, the Hand Traced Turkey.
Yak Bak.
Scraped knees and arguments. That is what I remember from Four Square. This was the shit during recess. I think it was most popular for us during my 1-3rd grade years.
The girl version of our Mighty Max, Polly Pocket. If there isn’t something like this out now there should be.
I feel like a retard. I remember using these in Mrs. Millers 2nd grade class, and when I thought about posting this I realized for all this time I had no idea they actually had a name. I also, until 5 minutes ago, thought our teacher made these and no one else would have an idea what I’m talking about. So I went to google and searched for “wooden board with nails to make rubber band shapes.” Luckly google has a retard filter and led me to their real name…Geoboards!
Little Critter books.
These were like Arthur books to me. I would grab one at silent reading when I didn’t want to read. Just seeing this totally brought back a picture perfect memory of 2nd grade.
Life Savers Christmas Books
These are a tradition for me. Every year as long as I can remember these would be in my stocking Christmas morning.
WWF Hasbro figures
I had BOXES of these. They looked cool as shit but they didn’t move well. And by well I mean at all. Why won’t you let Razor Ramon walk?!?? a goddamn Sharpshooter isn’t a Sharpshooter if legs aren’t crossed!!!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Cereal Bowls!!
New phone (yay!) now I can finally post again. I don’t know what these are but they tasted like strawberries and were chewy in the center. I have never actually sought these out but I fucking love them.
